  • Earned his Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association card in l974, competing in calf roping, team roping and steer wrestling. 

  • Qualified for every PRCA Badlands Circuit Finals Rodeo from the inception of the circuit system in 1975 through 1996, as well as in ‘98 and ‘99. 

  • 1975 circuit steer wrestling champion. 

  • Earned circuit team roping championships in 1982, ’84, ’88, ’90 and ’96. 

  • Qualified for PRCA Dodge National Circuit Finals Rodeos in l988 ’89, ’94 and ’97, finishing second in 1989.

  • 1990 North Dakota Rodeo Association Team Roping Champion.  

  • 1991 NDRA Men’s All-Around & team roping average four times. 

  • Professional Rodeo Association (NPRA) Team Roping Champion for the years 1991, 1995 and 1996.

  • Has won numerous USTRC and other team roping association championships.
